I need to get 4 fuel tanks fabricated. In other words, the boat will be dry for a little longer. I may have it ready for the SBI thing in November. I've been busy at work and just got some large projects out the door, so things are cooling off a little until about January. I will definitely let you know when it is ready !!!
I found out the boat was raced for one season as the Michelobe Light boat, in about '82. That's funny, because I was at a boat show in the Superdome, and , not sure, but a boat, I think the Michelobe Light, was on display there.
Where you gonna be at in New Orleans?? Call me at 985-893-3831 if you get a chance.

I'll be in the Quarter -- I have an apartment there. I have 8 (count 'em -- 8) old friends from high school coming to visit my 2br + 1ba apt. Should be interesting.
One of them booked ALL of us on some damned Swamp Tour leaving at 8:00 am on Sat. At least it sounds like a neat boat -- 60mph airboat.
I'll try to give you a call on the way down. I'll hit N.O. about 2:00. I have already told the girlfriend I will be M.I.A. the first week of Nov. A buddy of mine that knows the Big Thunder Marine guys wants to come down and hang with them. I'd sure like to see your boat flying across the lake.
