Well one of my motors is running ! Hope to have the other ready to start tonight . I'm gunnin' for labor day test run ! The Jersey shore will never be the same again !:D :D

OH YES ! HAd the one all together and running ! What a great feeling !
Then I had to take the blower off ,rocker arms , and retorque the heads .... Then I remebered a posible oversight . I have spacer plates between the intake manifold and the head due to it being a tall deck . I had extra bolts laying there and had to take the intake off to see if I missed some ! I didn't . It was worth it to know . There goes another set of gaskets !:mad: And more time !:mad:
By the time I got done playing with all that I didn't get to finish the other like I wanted to . A little too tired to think ! Oh well . Start again tomorrow !

Motor #2 is alive and well !!!:D
Lesson learned for today ,

1- Don't let people help !

2- NEVER LET PEOPLE HELP !

3- Make sure ALL the intake gaskets are in
before finishing engine !

4-REVERSE ROTATION engine means something !!
things are different ! (spark plug wiring ):rolleyes:

5- when starting engine with plug wires wrong ,don't
put your ass too close to the open header !!:eek:
(large flames)!

6- there is nothing like a large blown motor running inside
a garage with open headers ( car headers ) !!:D :D

going away for a couple days now ...... Hope to be putting them in next thursday . Wish me luck ! I'll need it
