Yeah if you sit and stare at the front of the motor for 17months and 2 weeks I could see that it might take a year and a half to get a motor built with a serpentine belt.

Give me a ****in break, its not like this combo has not been done before by someone. Its a ****in big block with a whipple and serpentine belt, wtf am I missing????

I'm a Harley Davidson tech and build engines on the side , I have guy's who think I have A magic wand and can make things happen right away , I can turn a complete (side job) engine with my ported heads in about 6 weeks and people get uppity with me for taking too long .
after reading all these threads I'm strongly considering branching out in to marine engines full time

There is opportunity everywhere, every business, pick up the phone,communicate,say what you do ................. do what you say boom!

A little animated today, ran the boat for a few hrs today, ran around pissing off blow boaters.

It's a new year and still haven't heard from them. If I had an engine using up one of my stands or benches I think I would be getting ahold of the person to tell them the status of the engine.

Have you called them? What are they telling you?

I have left messages, tried them on their Facebook page, no returns.

The harsh reality is you need to go there and resolve this situation.

If you want to call, and vent...PM me. I can assure you that I have dealt with every frustration/issue you are dealing with in regards to a build....x 10. I finally hooked up with a legit builder and am very happy. Trust me, I know what you are going through and it blows. Good luck man.
