Have a little 8lb'r that loves the boat. Sits on the rear seat by himself. Loves it - boat and water....as most dogs do or should...lol.

Get a little nervous once as we had a Bald Eagle following us (directly overhead) for approx 6-8 miles until it dawned on me that it might have been eye'ing him for dinner. :poopoo:

I take my Dogs to the island all the time... it is their favorite thing in life to do! They usually sleep the whole next day as they need to recharge after hours of running,swimmimg,etc...

Goldens are great.

So how do you know when they need to pee ? My german shorthair pointer gets sorta antsy and starts pacing around and then it's time to find land !

Goldens are awesome. Molly was never much of a water dog so she only went out with us on the boat as a puppy. Had to put her down last Wednesday after a series of strokes most likely associated with a brain tumor. She was 12 1/2. This is her last fall checking out the new paver patio.

Sorry for the loss of your dog Molly. We have do put our dog Jaxson down recently and it was tough. When I posted earlier in this thread I did it in present tense thinking he was still here.
