If you plan on keeping the boat for awhile then in the long run you are probably better off buying a new trailer
Myco would be the best bet, one the those things, you get what you pay for.
for a 38' boat there are plenty of used trailers for sale that you can get the bunks changed to fit

Is this is the replace the steel one on the 388 you are considering I may have something for you. My friend with the other Arneson 388 has an aluminum rocket trailer under his boat, maybe you guys can work a trade? What is the trailer under the 388 you are considering?

i have had horrible luck in the past finding anything semi-descent to buy. as the old saying goes, if there is a used trailer for sale there is likely a good reason...good luck with the search.
