A lesson in safety as we go into the weekend...
Apparently someone forgot to install the retaining pins on an outside gate that closes off a crossover on the track just before practice started for this weekend's Busch Grand National race. Murphy's Law then took effect, and: WHAM-O!!!!

I wonder if the guy responsible for the gate thought: "Oh - What the heck, it's just practice, not a race."
All you headed out for races and Poker Runs - I assume you're making the proper preparations. For those of you "just going out for a quick spin" - Please think about what you're doing. The boat doesn't know "it's not a race", and there's been enough heartache over the last few weeks.
