You guys are clueless.... Havent you seen the youtube videos of offshore boats running in big water? They jump waves!!! If your drives arent deep, your just spinning props in the air when your flying. With a deep drive the prop stays in the water when the boat is in the air, End result: with deep drives you can go faster!!!!!
