He was rushed to the ER this afternoon and has been admitted into Holy Cross Hospital.

From what I have read and I am not sure if it is actually confirmed but it was heart trouble.

If I hear anything more I will post and I ask anyone that may have any updates to please let us all know...

UPDATE: he's in good spirits and obviously enjoying the nurses attention.

He sounds OK, couldn't really talk. But I think he has a few more poker runs left tgod.

Jason has not been feeling well the past few days, he called me this morning asking if I knew a good walk in clinic near or home ( we live close to one another) as he felt " heavy chested and his lungs felt congested" I know he's stubborn so I told him to get checked out in case it's phenomena. They did a chest x ray which showed a severe lung infection and swelling around the heart there is also the possibility of a mild heart attack . With that the sent him straight to the hospital. They do not know if the heart caused the fluid in his lungs or if the infection caused the heart issue so tests will be done tomorrow. I spent some time with him tonight and he was doing well, he's got a lot of support from friends and a wonderful woman in celeste.
Now for the fun part, I told the asian nurse on my way out that he was a pain in the ass, not sure she understood because she ( in her asian accent) said " Ok joe, no prolem, I check his prostate later. Should be a good night

if anyone lives near the hospital, please swing by and slip the doctor a c note to prescribe 4 sponge baths a day.... that will really cheer him up...

Just left the hospital. He is in good spirits. Lots of ongoing tests and he will be there a few days to care for the pneumonia. Prognosis seems good.

Hell, they gave him a cheeseburger and other goodies for lunch so I don't think they consider it life threatening. At least for this week. :party-smiley-004:
