caseyh, A lot of times after you make a boat (cat Or V ) you learn a lot about how it Rides/Handles and want to make changes to fix or enhance certain characteristics. You don't necessarily want to make a Longer/Bigger boat, but want to apply what you've learned from previous models. That's why Cougar used to make wood & aluminum boats, that way they didn't commit to a "Set" Mold and could apply changes as they learned them. A mold is a HUGE Investment, So you'd better be sure what you learned and how to apply it before you commit to another Huge investment. I'll Go ahead and say there has never been anyone better than Peter at applying what he has learned and making the next boat better.
