Watched the run from an island in the narrows @ Brockville. Saw them flying up from the crossover and then slow down thru the narrows and got some good veiws of all the machinery. But the way back was awesome. Just as the boats were coming back a big ship came thru and you should have seen some of the air some boats took.Saw the bottom of my buddies 28 Eliminator twice. Just awesome.
Then later some friends showed up and I was taking them for a ride and TOMCAT goes goes by, a little under the weather. I know it's not nice to pick on someone when there are down but he was twice my length and probably 4 times my horsepower. I had to just pull up next to him just so I could say TOMCAT couldn't pull away from me.
TOMCAT, do you remember the little Red,White and Blue HTM cat just past Brockville?
Anybody know the story on the other turbine cat? The name was either"X-ONE" or "ONE-X" It was red, white and blue, never really saw him let it loose.
Again, just an awesome display. Counting the days until next year.

1000 island poker run
I ALWAYS TAKE ONE OF MY WEEKS FOR THE 1000 ISLAND POKER RUN. (I SPEND A FEW WEEKS A YEAR UP THERE.)
ON FRIDAY MORNING I WENT TO GANANOQUE. WHEN I GOT OUT OF MY TRUCK AT THE MARINER PARKING LOT I NOTICED MY TAIL GATE WAS DOWN. MY TOOL BOX MUST HAVE FALLEN OUT ON ROUTE 81 OR THE 401. LUCKILY I DIDN'T LOSE MY BOAT COVER.
THE BOATS IN GANANOQUE WERE "GREAT". 46 TOM CAT YOUR BOAT IS VERY IMPRESSIVE. I LEFT AND WENT BACK TO ALEX BAY
AND WENT OUT ON THE RIVER FOR THE EVENING. GREAT BOATS OUT THERE THAT NIGHT. THE POKER RUN WAS GREAT EVEN WITH THE DELAY COMING OUT OF THE BAY. EVEN WITH THE LOSE OF MY TOOL BOX I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR.

Hey Roy,I remember when that cat came into Rockport for the card pickup.I hear he was down to one turbine.I ask him when I pulled up next to him when I gave him his card.He said they were limping back to Gan. To bad,Not a bad looking cat.

the smaller Tomcat, fighter plane
nice work sunday morning. 6:50am and you decide to let 'er rip. That is a marina, not your back yard. There were more than a few pissed off people, me included. We were sleeping in the boat abeam yours. You could have put it on the trailer the night before.

Good call with the MyWay/TomCat picture. It's my computer backround too. You can see Ken from Minds in Motion sizing up the TomCat. Too bad he didn't get to see it at 160+ mph. Maybe next year. By the way, Ken told me that he was local, but I forgot his last name. Do you know him, Jay?
So Jay. You're from Gan. The festival is over. The poker run is over. Now what? Hybernation for the next eleven months?
Actually, Gan is pretty crazy and the casino may carry the craziness though the winter. I'll see if I can get up to get a look inside that place.
Of all the things that I did in Gananoque, Milano's pizzaria was the best. Do you ever eat there?
Later
Ron.
