I'm secure enough in my masculinity to drive a tritoon

Very funny. But I agree with you 100%. Fast noisey boats are fantastic fun and I love my Fountain but for family fun they are totaly useless. I have decided tritoon is the way to go for the second boat. Thanks guys for all your inputs and ideas.

Have you ridden on a Bennington? How would you compare it to the playcraft?

Avalon makes a really nice boat. We bought one last winter and have used the chit out of it this summer. Just turn the key and go boating, stress free. The kids love it and my wife can take it out by herself. I've even had it out on lk mi a few times, it makes me laugh at how much chop it can take. Who would of thought a tri toon would be comfortable in 2 ft lake chop. I would get at least a 200hp if you want to do any tubing or skiing. Ours has a 150 honda and runs 38, but wish I would of got the 200 or bigger.

I had a JC Tritoon with a stroked small block and a bravo II loved it, twisted its tail every weekend.... Boat full skiing, cruising etc...I now have a Advantage Party Cat love it.... The Manitou Tritoon is a pretty awesome ride as well...

Checkout the Harris Crowne Edition. You can get twin 300's on it and they say it'll run in the 60's https://www.harrisboats.com/crowne/
