MY PRIDE

I am sure people will post this so i will beat them to my own humilation :)

Ran out of gas on the way to the shootout sunday :(
everyone told me to lighten the load :)

Then once again the ole' BackWaterJacks takes its toll on me.
If anyone remmebers my little mishap and cracked ribs at LOTO last year it was at BWJ's.
Well this year I parked, well tried, at a different dock.
4 feet from the Dock I go out on the front deck to cleat up a rope.
slipp de do da and off I go right into the lake :(
I was lucky for many reasons.I was far enough away not to hit anything, I did not loose my glasses, almost, and nothing in my pockets.
Needelss to say The combination of me, my boat, and Back water Jacks will NEVER meet again :)

Will have to tie offshore and swim in :)

But at least I did have a dry set of clothes in the boat :)

Here's the pic of Jan & Bear in the PQ. I have to admit, he was in a pretty good mood for everything he'd just gone through! BTW, I am posting this picture with his approval!;)

Hey Jan,
I have a picture that looks just like that!:D About one month ago, when the coupler went. Except I had to pay sea tow 400 bucks:mad: I have to ask, why did you have to have the drive rebuilt?

My outdrive blew out and had to be towed in by a small bateau with a 40hp motor! This all happened around 1 in the morning..
Good news is the outdrive is still in warrenty and will be ready by Thursday...

Gary, the forward gear lost a tooth, why??? Mercruiser mech. said it looked like a bad gear from the factory(170hrs on boat). This time I think something happened to the cone clutch. The drive has been stuck in forward on 3 different times this summer. Said thing is I never ever run over 3000 rpms to get on plane. I will push the throttle once on plane, but a 454 mag should not hurt a Bravo drive.

Hey great picture! What were you getting on GPS here? I noticed that the Bear was crouching kinda low. Is that because she had all four paws wrapped around a large beverage trying to anesthetize the pain? The pain I am refering to is the sharp pain she had to be feeling in both ears as you cussed Mercruiser, the "Boat Doctor", Powerquest and any other individual/company associated with the boat!!!;)

There is no telling how much money we saved by going to Atlanta this weekend. Get this...no bar tab, no bar tab, no bar tab, nothing broke on the boat while it sat on the trailer. I figure I'm up $1,000. Is it Friday yet?:D
