302 formula with surface drives trim tabs worth putting on or not?

A lot of work to change over. Complete re-rig. Even though I had one I dont think it would be worth the hassles.

I think he's asking if just trim tabs are worth it. The answer is yes. Tabs are great and if used properly will help the ride a lot.

I thought that as well until I looked at the boats that he owns.I agree tabs are a must especially with surface drives. i8 would use mine most of the time for turning while on plane. Less wear and tear on drives and u-joints...

I have a 30' Scarab with Kaamas. Tabs make all the difference. I can't imagine running the boat without them. Helps with take-off, adjusting ride angle, load, everything! You'll be pleased!
