scarab 302 sport ? s

Thanks for looking.

Seems the older hulls are called 30' then somewhere around 2000 I noticed some are called 32'. Did they really grow , or just change the footage on the titles?

How do these things ride in the rough? Will I stay dry in 2,3,4'er chop ? Thanks!

They are all the same size. They are good boat but are heavy. The older ones, have a lot of wood and have the tendency of having the floors soft. All depends what you consider 2,3,4's.

Good all around cc. Only dislike is the narrow beam and deep V make it sinsative to waight. (Leans bad )

ha. Real 2,3, and 4s and more often than not bigger......not oso 2,3,4'ers ;)
I was already thinking the 302 isnt big enough for what I want, then I saw some called 32s and was on the fence about dealing with it because some are clean and can be had for fair $

Good boats, handle the rough well, pretty quick with simple power.

As was said, have the floors checked, narrow so there is some leaning when people shift around too. It's really not that bad though and it is the same deal when looking at Concept and other like branded sport CC's.

All around they are great boats.

Don't know how much you want to spend, but a really good and good looking boat is the 33 Avance. They handle great, no wood, beautiful lines and fast. They're not easy to find as they were not a production boat. Several members have one and we all love them. Really good boats. But what do I know haha

302s and Sprints/Sportsters seemed to be scattered across the nation when I was looking, Avance/Avanti/Action Marine/Paramounts were pretty much concentrated in Florida where they were produced. There's a nice looking Avance 33SF in Deerfield Beach on CL for $60k, and a shorter Avance 26 over in Ft Myers on CL for $22k (no cabin). Get the gas card out, it's time for a road trip.

I can not post pics so that you can see Rogers & mine. Before anyone says it I do not know how to do the whole photo bucket stuff.

I have dads 30 scarab sport on my lift. It's a nice boat. Older model at 1993. We just hung 2 yamaha hpdi 300s on it. Severely under propped right now with 23 3 blades.
