I have never met Dave Scott but am a big fan of his. I can't ever remember him packing 3000hp t-55's in his mystic and failing...

u1crew,
Wrong again, dave did build a turbine powered cat, an MTI, that he sold and bought his mystic that he still owns today. Give Dave a call, he'll verify it for ya, if you don't believe me.

That boat never had turbines in it. It had Sterlings in 2007, then converted to alcohol motors. It was Bud Select in 2007 if I have the correct boat and painted red/black.

Congrats to Qatar for SHATTERING a record I thought was untouchable.

Absolutely agree.

And yep, I believe I've been privy to said upcoming project. It is and will be a success. I think it's going to blow mystic up even more.

Yep,
Tank, "IT" and the C4000 builds already has Mystic in overdrive! Hope someday we will meet at Mystic or the Miami show. I'm also scheduled to be working in North Ca. in 2016....

Correct Mystic never had turbines. Sitting in shop with no mills in it when I saw it in May.

Correct.

The turbine MTI was only delivered a few days before the Shootout(2006) and he made a couple 1/2 course exhibition passes.
He sold it(over seas I believe) before it was ever really dialed in.
