He wasn't in the boat. Randy S and another MTI guy were handling it. John had to jet out to an event.

well ... then we can rule out driver error...lol |
Boat was low on fuel at the start and one engine hiccuped towards the end when it lost power for a second so they shut her down

I thought this was going to be a thread about him in the pool at Coconuts on Friday.
Carry on.... |
Randy from MTI and Scott from CPR were in the boat for the run.

We are still apparently learning the new boat and it's details.....like the fuel gauges. :picard1:
As stated, it wasn't me in the boat, but Randy S. And Scott Lyons. They did a great job of lifting and gathering her back up when one motor stumbled a bit. All in a days work for those guys! Scott told me it coughed at 145 and thought it was on a mid 150's pass even with big props. The boat handled the slop and chop all weekend long and was a blast until i had to leave this morning. I was really bummed I didn't get to run during Saturdays runs, but I guess that just leaves more time to prepare for next year! It was a great weekend other than BAM trying to kill me at Coconuts  and the most important thing is that everyone is still with us and on the road to recovering. Thoughts and prayers to the Fiore family as it truly is the people that make the event more so than the boats! |
Thanks for the details brother . I heard the interior of your boat smells great , like rich Corinthian leather . :ernaehrung004:
|
Official speed was 134

39's are great all around props, good top speed, bit much for a mile with the gears I have though.
