Need a patent attorney....and a technical writer....

So.....

Back in the late 80's, I hired a patent attorney to submit an idea, based on existing technology, complete with the technical and mechanical drawings AND a working prototype.

After submission, I felt confident that I was the next " hula-hoop/pet rock" guy.....

90 days after submission I requested an update for the atty. He then inquired with the patent office and their response was " patent not applied for".......

He instantly reapplied and we both awaited a response. The first response took over a month, the second took three days after return receipt.

Answer was "patent already applied"

Long story short.....I invented caller id-tv. Any screen with a phono/bnc/rgb/co-ax 59/r's-232 was capable of receiving a "weather-band" strip at the bottom of the display scrolling the number and associatiated data (blocked/name/business)

This technology in one form or another currently exists in your life.

Period.

I have again conceptualized a missing feature from the current technology/service/security landscape that is not only needed (not luxury) but jeopardizing lives currently, and for the 45 years that have preceded.

I know.....sounds a bit melodramatic. It's not.

The legislation to allow this (idea) is already in place, and enforced....on both sides since it's incarnation the year before I was even born.

Immediately, there will be privacy concerns.....but the laws (not lower 48, not 50, but all of North America) have effectively addressed this through current and standing laws in all states, territories and allied borders to aid the masses in the most beneficial way through expedited and unbiased service.

Anyone here qualified and available to step to the challenge? NDA prior to initial discussion. Afterwards, we can have a free flowing exchange between brains.....

Try practical machinist, sometimes they're helpful with these things.

Sometimes they just shred your ideas. Lol

a good patent attorney and technical writer is well worrth the money, I have a great one here in Toledo. Not sure if they cross states but i see him often and would bemore then happy to get you his info. I did this one a few years ago and is a good example of his work although I do my own illustrations. its a long process that requires a pretty sizable investment before you even make it through examination. I was into this one for around ten thousand before we found prior art that made pursuing it further difficult. I have a few others in the works, I enjoy the process as a hobby.
