The forward vision may be gone, but the talent he surrounded himself with remains.
I'm just an average guy , but the really astute settle only for the best and brightest. I think they will survive just fine , although the invitations may come slower.

I remember when I used to go to sand city in the old days 70's when his father and his friends had the hustlers goin ,he was just a little kid may he rest in peace and my sorrows for the family tripps

What a bummer.... A few years back, on the morning of the Pirate Run, I'm anxiously preparing to present the drivers meeting for the days event. It's about 930 -945 (drivers Meeting starts at 10am) guys are drifting in. My cell phone rings........"this Bill?"........."yea bud I'm real busy, what can I do for you?" "Hey Bill this is Mike Fiore from Outerlimits, we're running a little late. We did the Atlantic City run yesterday. We Left at 5:00 a.m. and should be there anytime" "............(me)..........Silence............ .." MIke "Bill you still on the phone?....." " ......(me)......."Is this really Mike Fiore"...... Mike " Yea Bill....we'll see you in ten minutes" I was sooooo excited. "Mike Fiore iS ON HIS WAY!!!!!!!!" Holy ****........The man that made Outerlimits. You should have seen the place.....you could just feel the excitement. Everybody, not just a few........Everybody was pumped. I could tell the guy was exhausted but still he put on a smile and spoke with everybody that approached him.


Great Guy, Great visionary, Driven, Super friendly, and in my book.......larger than life.

Everyone here knows that the last thing Mike would want would be for the company he worked so hard to build die with him. Yes it was his creation but with proper management it will survive.

I can only guess that Mike's father Paul Fiore will take command of the company, at least for the time being. Who there is more qualified than him? He founded and ran Hustler, then worked at Outerlimits for many years. He knows how to run a boat company and is already familiar with Outerlimit's day-to-day operations.

Whomever runs it, I hope Outerlimits prospers. If it stays in the family, that would be great too.
