nyc off shore races ?
does any one know of the off shore races in nyc, the date and time ? last year they were in sept.

Rumor has it that the NYPD will not allow spectator boats at this race due to the 9/11 security.
If you were planning on attending by boat, call SBI and be a sweep/medic or some type of support boat. Call soon because they always get more volenteers than they need. |
dave is post time going to be there volunteering? If so do you need any more crew members

Hey Guys, Yes it is true, there is no spectator area, same as last year, So, if you are serious about being a patrol boat or a medic boat, please contact SBI, there was some problem last year with people that just wanted to view the race and did not patrol the course...Volunteers are still needed, so please give SBI a call by 8/28 at 305-296-8963...Thanks and see you at the races...
