Industries Best for Interior???

Let's hear them... PPI,Fineline, etc. I'm extremely picky and want a high quality interior. I'd like to stay this side of the Mississippi

You need to talk to Jamie at Cutting Edge. His is the best. He is always busy so scheduling won't be right away, and nothing is for free… But he is the best. His shop is in SW Florida.

Huge vote for XT. The best east of the Mississippii

Randy Kent just put a "ZX" in a hatch that I was unable to do myself. The work was amazing. I would deff at very min give him a call. Super nice guy to deals with. He has a CNC available that cuts vinyl. There are just something's you can not do as straight as a computer.
With to.

Fineline did great work for me. Reasonable and impressive work! Highly recommended.

Call Dave at XT innovations and be done with it!
Top class job from a top class crew!

How does shipping work for these businesses that some of us are not that close to? Especially in regards to Longer side pieces like combing pads. Seems like it could get pricey just to get it to / from

GETTINBYE 09-01-2014 08:54 AM

Another vote for XT.

You have one of the best an hour and a half from you.... Call Brandon Valentine 443-569-2787
Valentine Upholstery.... His shop is next to Lilly Sport Boats in Annapolis, he has done a lot of fountains being next to art's shop.
He did my 39 Cigarette this winter and it is flawless... Check out Lin's 39 Cigarette Top Fish he just did as well and not to far from you... Kids got skills. LOL

PM you need more help... Thanks Pat

The seats for my 20 are from ppi and are perfect. Brandon at valentine did my tiger and it is incredible, dave at xt is doing the rear seat for my 20. As with any trade each city is going to have great craftsman. Lin called me about his topfish and i recommended brandon, same as i have for anyone within driving range. Depending on location you now have the names of 3 that excel in their craft. Another friend i sent to brandon has their chapparel interior there now.

I would think someone in the LOTO area would be able to do a professional job as well. Mike at Fineline does really outstanding work. Seen a lot of his stuff in person.

I wondered as well about shipping interior like engine hatches and so forth how expensive that alone would get. Our area not really known for the top notch custom interior work for boats. I would like to find someone as well but without all the huge shipping costs.

Hell with shipping.... Take'm the boat & let them do everything perfect & then go pick it up when done!

+1 on that, any high end shop probably wouldnt do it without the boat there to make sure everything fits right.

A few from my refresh this winter... The before and after, as you can see the yellow on the floor was the old.

And I couldn't agree more with Dave , any shop will want boat to make it perfect.

Good luck with your search.

Pat

I called ppi last week. They did not insist on needing the boat.
I was curious about the contoured , long combing pads on a c.c. and curious how to get them there reasonably and in one piece.

Dave at XT Innovations did mine this spring and it came out fantastic.

masi242 09-02-2014 08:59 AM

Scarab, a little closer to home is a place called Stiches in Lawrence,Ma he did a great job on my bolsters. I live in the western part of the state but was worth the drive, I got his name from Smoking gun on OSO.

I have always been very pleased with anything I had done by Mike at Fineline.

He is very creative in his designs and delivers on budget and on time.

vettex1 09-02-2014 03:56 PM

Does anyone know of someone in New York that is good? Looking to have my entire cockpit done over the winter.
