As you've owned two, maybe you can help me verify something: Though he hasn't ridden in it himself (nor have I) Alan at Pier 57 was told that boat will run 70 to 90 mph with current power (200 hp). Does that sound right to you? I couldn't verify it so I didn't include it, but if so ... damn.

With a 200, that boat will run 95 all day long if set up properly.

It never gets old hearing really cool stories like that !!!
I have an early 70's 15' Allison here in the shop that I picked up a month or so back that I'm completely redoing for myself.. I've got a 15 inch midsection 150 XS inline 6 Merc. to hang on the back of it, so it should be a really fun boat.. So Matt if 95 is to fast for you in a 20 footer, I'm doubting low to mid 80's in a 300+ pound hull that's 5 foot shorter would be your thing either... haha !! |
