Rebel- when is your boat due to be complete?
How did you spec it out; Merc or Livorsi controls Port or Ctr helm? Fixed or folding rear bench? Interior color? Painted hull, color? Plas Dek If you don't mind me asking / sharing |

My Fountain is a 35 Executioner Keeping it for the time being to see how much I use it compared to the NT 340.
I was just told that the 300s have 3 years but may have and additional 2 years added but wont know until I take delivery this winter. While the 350s have 2 years. Still trying to decide. Will only be run in fresh water. |

Plas Dek If you don't mind me asking / sharing Livorsi digital controls w/separate throttle/shifters (He had the Merc controls on his 350 SS with Axius and IMO they suck) Port helm (twin, not triple) Fixed rear seat Beige interior Dark blue painted hull with matching helm paint (looks better than just the white gel) Permateek flooring (Installed locally at LOTO) |
The ctr vs port helm gets mixed reviews, NT says Ctr helm is most popular. I haven't really heard any negatives about the port helm just advantages regarding the center.
the comments I've heard to date: Better visibility, more seating, ergonomics of the entire helm (can reach everything easily from ctr) I'd be interested in knowing why those that opted for a port helm did so. |

I drove the boat @ 40 miles on LOTO in July. I could easily reach everything I needed to reach while driving the boat. Visibility was not a problem. I personally would not like the boat with a center helm but that is just my personal preference.

Understood, I'm an interested party just after as much owner feedback as I can possibly get but at the end of the day until I ride on or drive one I really have no say. Hopefully we can solve that problem FRIDAY!!

I have center helm and love it can't imagine owning one with a port helm. I like having have a passanger on either side especially during fun/poker runs that way every one get a seat.
Make sure you get a bow thruster it's a must !!! |
I didn't plan to opt for the Thruster keeping in mind I'm looking at a 340 not a 390 like you have. Along those lines to me if a bow thruster is $13k & joystick $19k the Thruster is very single purpose & the joystick much more versatile & way larger return on investment for sure. NT doesn't list a joystick on their price sheet, I used the $19k price Sunsation quotes.

Seriously considering selling my 42 Lightning and going to a CC. Great post, like hearing all of the different opinions and ideas on options.
