How it ended

They stopped right next to the raft-up. The thing just in front of them is a small rubber raft. The guy in it dove out and was missed by inches by the Buds right sponson.

Jimmy climbed out and jumped down to check on Mark who was ok. I always wondered what Marks first words were as Jimmy stuck his head into the cockpit. I also have some in cockpit photos of this.

These photos are video captures from a show called Thrills and spillsthat was shown on both ESPN2 and the old SpeedVision and FOX>

I saw this on tv. I don't how they avoided all the boats. There was a camera in the cockpit of the Bud boat. He could not see a thing.
