Mariah boats question

Looking at a 1995 Mariah Z202 with 94 hours on it looks to be in great shape , just looking for something to pull the family around in a tube. Never heard of Mariah be for. So just wondering if there good boats or junk or just a little info on them. Thanks for the help

They are a fine boat to do what you are looking to do with a boat. There are a lot of them in the Midwest.

I think 7k at the end of the season is a bit much for a 10 yr old boat. 94 hours is nuthin though...

i had a 98 z223 or something (22 open bow'). Mine had waterlogged engine hatch & then the bow cockpit flooring needed some work to remove wet wood. Fit & finish on it was not that great. Ended up upgrading to a 97 232 Baja for just a little more money. Baja was much better boat all around.

I was told they didn't have wooden flooring. I appreciate the info.

Lol, 1995 was almost TWENTY years ago, sir. I do the same thing.... Always wondering where the time went!

The biggest problem with the whole line was that they were what I'll call "feature heavy." Translation: They came with a ton of standard features - many of which were somewhat questionable on both real need and engineering. (Ever really need a defroster?) The problem with all of these features was getting / keeping all of them in working condition. And now twenty years later, I can only imagine things have gotten worse.

I always thought they were a great looking boat, nice colors/lines.they only real negative thing i heard about them was a lot of blistering on the hulls, some badly blistering-some not at all.sounds fine for what your needs are. they are what they are, if you like the boat...make an offer, if not accepted, there's always another boat around the corner. Good luck ;)

Thanks everyone for the info. They didn't except my 1st offer, buy the time I called back it was sold for asking price. So I'll keep looking
