Funny you should mention that, my grandfather built this about 10 years ago. It now belongs to the whole family. We don't even use it until labor day weekend, and it gets more pictures taken of it than anything else out there when we go steaming. It's the most fun you can have at 7mph, and you stay toasty warm.

My uncle also built one and ran it on Sebago when I was a kid. The coolest thing about the whole boat was of coarse the steam whistle! I remember how he would say to us "if you want to go out in the boat I need to go start the fire now so it will be ready in about an hour!"

I am going to take my port motor out ( that has about 15 minutes on it) and take it all apart and probably put new bearings in it, and a new set of lifters. And a new cam. MYSELF.!! Because PFAFF told me after they did my motor i had only a 50 50 chance it would be ok. ( never said anything about that when I was paying them to machine the new motor!! Do it right , do it yourself period!! I guess they gave me such a good deal they will not stand behind it. Great 7 cylinders $ 9200.00 Ha that's a great deal. I would not be so pissed but they facked up my last motor too
