Bigger doesn't mean better... Hell, at LOTO we have a boat show every weekend, that trumps by far any organized boat show I have ever been to.
Now lets talk about traveling to other destinations: Unless you are a hermit, getting away from where you live is what we call a vacation. :D |

I was just offered 1 miiiillllllllllyyyyyeeeennnn dollars for my 2002 Skater because it has always been at LOTO. I turned it down. It's worth a little north of 1.2MM....especially after these winter upgrades.

Dont have a dog in the fight, but as someone who has purchased a couple boats from different parts of the country. I'd say TRUE loto boats are in general better cared for. Havasu boats are probably 2nd. I went to New Jersey and the idea of well cared for there was, parked in a marina yard uncovered. Realestate is a premium there and they simply don't have the larger boat sheds, docks, etc to keep the boats out of the weather. 95% of the formulas/foutains/etc that were purchased new at Loto and spent their entire life there are in great shape.

LOTO, no salt, covered docks, plenty of restaurant and bar venues, a performance boat meca...what's not to like other than the 3 W's (work, winter and Water Patrol)???
|

You are 100% right but the gist of this thread concerned salt water stuff relocating to LOTO and asking more than they were for sale for for years prior when they were in other salt water markets. Take a 400 hour+ salt water boat, ship it to LOTO and ask 20% more than it was listed for last month despite it being for sale for years. Buyers might pay a premium for an all fresh water existence, used 8 months a year, kept under a covered dock etc. but those are the same guys that fear salt water boats like a zombie apocalypse yet the boat IS a salt water boat!
