525-w/3.3 Whipples

Looking at a Cig with this set up- anyone have any experience with this particular package/set up as far as dependability??

If it's the boat at LOTO, then it looks like a really sweet ride. I don't think the XR drives would do too well behind 750+hp though. If I was buying the boat I would budget for a drive swap to Imco SCX's.

Dependability depends on who did the installs. As far as the blowers themselves, they are pretty much bullet proof. Great systems, no idle issues and tons of torque. I will tell you this though, if you buy the boat, immediately change the gear lube in the blowers. then check the level on a monthly basis. if it gets too low, it will burn up the gears inside. Also on the 525's, they have some header issues. Do a search here about it.
