Swim Platform boarding handle location???
2 Attachment(s)
Q,
I have 2 locations I'm looking at for mounting a 10" grab handle for the swim platform/boarding ladder on the Talon. 1st is upper on the engine hatch, which will give more reach, and 2nd is lower with less reach but is mounted to the hull deck... The engine hatch is thick enough for the handle to be mounted to, I'm just trying figure out which will work best. Thanks, Dean ATTACH=CONFIG]530203 |
I think the lower mount, blends in better, Id stay off the hatch

If you mount it on the lower spot will the hatch hit it when you open the hatch?

Think about docking an rafting up with other boats. How far does this stick out from the boat? Good luck. Artie

Don't go too low.
My boats rear handle is too low, if you are in the water it is useless. I have a rope tied along the back pad to get out of the the water and back into the boat. |
Take a pic of the hole back of the boat to get a better idea

Jump in the water and see where your wife can reach comfortably.
