Both great boats. If comparing 525/bravo boats the fountain gives you staggered motors, and a extra 20-40k for insurance and fuel. Your call.

Actually some of the Fountain race boats didn't even have beaks & were almost an exact match to the Skater Vee. We also built the first stepped 46 Cigarette and constructed the 46 “Kilo” boat for Cigarette. Needless to say, our 399 incorporates the best V-hull attributes and is “State of the Art” when it comes to bottom design. So successful was this hull in racing that the current 39 “Outerlimits” race boat is almost an exact duplicate of our 399 bottom and does not even remotely resemble any of their other hull designs. What does that tell you? |
