I still go to the islands in the winter when the lake freezes!! It is a lot faster on a sled. We go to Michigan every other weekend to sled.

Snowmobiling takes up all my free time come winter. And yes Bajadaze, there is such a thing as winter!

Get together with people from the board, go out to bars and talk about boating.

Our winters is not really winter - unless you count temperatures in the low 40's maybe at night....otherwise we have high temperatures in the 70s during the day... so I agree with BajaDaze- what winter?

We still have about 2 good months left... last fall my last run was the 2nd weekend in november, it was great. During the winter we keep busy fixing cars and working on our own boat stuff. But this year it looks like I'l be working alot during the winter so i can pay for my new motor parts and hopefully find a newer truck..

I think this winter I would like to pull out the seats and side panels and carpet the whole floor in the Skater to give it a more "finished" look. I am tired of the area rug and it doesn't look as good.

Not to put a damper on things, but has anyone seen the farmer's almanac report on this winter...Watch out!

But the snowmobiler's will be loving it!

Winter - Oh yeah, that's when the humidity drops down and you have those great afternoons in the high 70's low 80's and your boat runs about 3 mph faster. You boat in the mornings and afternoons, then you pull up to someones dock and crash their house on Sunday to watch the games, (usually mine), and drink beer with chilli and wings.....damn, I hate winter. What's it saying Daze? My grandfather did everything by the alminac !!! I just put in around 25K worth of landscape in which some of it is not cold tolerant. There go my Cocoanut Palms, Canary Palms, Bannana Trees, Christmas Palms, Foxtails, Royals, etc.....Next year i'm going with all plastic stuff !!! Wardey
