Idk about you but I have not noticed the Activator/Rage cockpit to be any smaller than that of a Kryptonite, Pantera, Joker, Velocity, or most any competing models to the 27' model. Or even the 30' for that matter. And by "purpose built" if you mean they were built for rough water, handling, and running for long periods of time then I would say that's a pretty good purpose. Seeing as how we are talking about OFFSHORE Powerboats. Offshore Meaning, rough water, and needing a good handling boat. If you wanna go fast on the river in flat calm water go buy a Rayson Craft or something.
But they are a drivers boat that will be getting air much more than a 35+ footer with no amenities. Not everyone wants that. |

Aren't they all or most all a sit down only boat?
That right there no matter how good in the rough is a deal killer for me. |

Fixing some errors. lol but true. The Mich gets worse then anything I seen or been in.
And just for the record... any stepped hulls are great for top end, forget it in chit. The steps won't actually function until all(most) the hull is out of the water. No need in chit waters. Actually worse due to the pivot points. Plus the boat referenced above (not the Avanti lol ) while ok. they will bounce around like a canoe. (well may be not the Bullet) Have you personally measured each of the boats mentioned to prove your theory correct? Buck |

You might want to go back and edit your edits about actual length. I know for a fact that two of those mentioned in his reply are advertised length. One happens to be sitting in my driveway.

What the hell people??? No one has told the man that the only way to get a nice ride in rough water is to buy the ultimate wave crusher, the Chuck Norris of offshore boats, the holy grail of big water boating The 41 Apache!!!!!
