I would love to see solidarity among the racers at this time to stand up to JC to let Qatar race or no one shows!
Rumor had it Geico was threatened not being allowed to race Key West if they raced in OPA.
The exceptions were the OSS sites that later became part of the OPA schedule and Atlantic City being as that AC is in Goodell's home state and major sponsor of the event.
The track record shows they were the only events they participated in with OPA.

Whoever ended up grabbing that $2700-per-night 2 bedroom suite at The Ocean Key House should ask for a discount now. The only reason that room was so much was for the view of a RACE, not whatever this will be.

Perfect timing, most have had reservations for months, if not last year, now this. Its not as if the boat count keeps going up at the World's. First the Poker Run fleet moves to Stock Island and now the SBI bans one of the biggest attractions. I loved watching all classes of boats race, but most come to see the biggest and the fastest.
Feel sorry for he racers stuck in the middle, all they want to do is race and put on a good show.

The only thing that could possibly save offshore racing is a reality tv show to display how completely disfunctional it is. The vast majority of stupid America loves this type of grade school drama!

I'm embarrassed for the series & all involved based on one mans vendetta!
Sad, almost sounds like a case of small penis syndrome.
Whats even worse is when you don't even have the spine to put out a release supporting the cock block maneuver! If one is so adamant that they are doing the right thing then certainly they should be able to say so publicly w/ confidence wouldn't you think?? Or am I expecting too much??
