That was a bad year for those High Speed stabilizing pontoons. They had a lot of Rot problems and the bottoms had to much Rocker . The following years they went to a ventilated step with a a notch and a pad.. Your beating a dead horse with that year if you add more power.

I think you also have the X dimension of your high speed pontoons set to deep.
