Best big sit down vee

LOOKING FOR BIG SIT DOWN VEE INPUT
Starting from the Gladiator up, what would be top boat to run offshore new jersey and inner coastal. Is there a such thing as too big??
My 370 is on the large side running around south jersey chanel but very comfortable. Is 42' getting little long?

The ocean is less than perfect and having a 42' + boat has me thinking smoother rides more often.

One other factor, trailering to destination areas. The main dockage will be lagoonfront on a lift but considering a couple destination trips a year. How difficult trailering a 42'+ compared to 38'?

Appreciate you experiance and opinions

I have a 51 outerlimits I'm going to be selling soon.

Any of the OL GTX models. If you want one with milder power look into a 38 Donzi ZRC or the 42 fountain poker run.

388 Skater V sit-down; world record holder. (I thought they were building a 40-something too?)

Various Cigarette one offs including the Kilo boat, the "Skaterette", and several 45' Cigaratte Maximus models.

As mentioned: 42 Fountain PR and Donzi ZRC

Dragon/GTMM 39

As mentioned. several GTX/sit-down models from Outerlimits--however, the epoxy and alternative hull construction models have been described as harsh, stiff, and unforgiving in ride. But this needs to be weighed in your own ass' opinion.

You wrote more, but that's what registered in my sick mind.

End hi-jack.

There is only one record holding sit down Vee bottom and it is our Outerlimits SV43 with the Kilo at 180mph.

A glads a great choice. Mine eats up the rough and rides flat and smooth.

Actually measure 36'11" and if they had a comparable busle would be about the same wave crushing running surface as other brands 42' boats.

Good luck on your search your on the right track IMO on getting into one sweet powerboat!

I keep coming back to the gladiator, it is just a bad A** looking boat. How is the ride offshore compared to a top gun?
