Cuba 1 dollar Crystals and 1.50 Heinekens and some really really good pizza at the little restaurant next to the Hemingway Yacht club.
And also unbelievably the home of the worst Cuban sandwich you could ever lays eyes on.

OP was given bad info, no permit required for flare gun when used for it's correct purpose.

Yup, the saleswoman at West was a little overzealous. And they didn't say I could not buy anything, they said the law as they knew it was that I couldn't have one in MI without a CCW. Their intentions were good, and I don't fault them for it. The fact of the matter is that in some cases it can be considered a firearm, so a better safe than sorry approach is to treat it like one. Keep it in the case or on the boat and you are good.

I have had to pull my glock out at shop in Detroit before, I can't imagine how big the eyes would get from a flare gun lol. They make a 5 round yet?

Yeah, it's called a judge. LoL

....better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Thank you. I read the entire thread and never got that. I flunked comprehension though.
