Versatility & options are good things for both the manufacturer & the customer. Customers like options & ways to customize things to meet their individual needs. Manufacturers want to oblige so as not to lose a sale but custom orders on a 1 by 1 basis wreaks havoc on production schedules.

Hopefully Sunsations approach will help satisfy the needs of both sides.
