one added point i would make secure everything in the boat including the cooler full of subs for lunch our headliner still has very colorful dots from a bag of m&ms that bounced floor to ceiling we also got hit by a cooler that flew out of the boat ahead of us

Such a good point. Most everyone is aware of "the big things," but little stuff like this is easy to miss.
