I was keeping score on turn 2 and marc turned the boat fine . He didn't hit the buoys but he kept them close .

The big water on sunday was the determing factor . as a team they kicked butt ,that boat was on the edge at all times.

And they rode it hard with no attrision .I mean no delaminating the bottom from bad driving etc.

As far as youre record ,all I remember about you is you gave Joey a bad name .

Hey jbs, if the mercury 1650 engines are such junk why did they manage to win all 3 unlimited races? Not only did they win but I would say they dominated

IF JBS RACING was so fast / good / dominating force in offshore then why ....

did they quit ????

no big corporate sponsor ????

no back to back championships in unlimited ????

ran 197 mph desert storm shoot out ... and SOQ ran 244 mph at lotto ????

why ???? ........

Ouch!?! Harbor a little resentment? Can't we all just get along? Time for a group hug. No, ok, it's winter (weather wise) please don't hesitate to respond we need some entertainment.

Big congrats to Scotty and Marc for racing smart, and letting it all hang out sunday, the day it matters.
They did have guardian issues but still....
You don't watch ESPN or other sports networks and see how bad athletes get beat up by people everyday when they aren't playing that well?? What's the difference?? It's sports and everybody has their ups and downs. Go look at what the media is saying about people who aren't playing great right now in the NFL or NBA.

BTW, I'll be the first to admit Geico kicked a$$ when it really mattered .

Just back from Key West. Thanks for the support everyone.

We apologize for not being able to perform on Wed and Fri. We had some water flow blockage that would only reveal itself at high speeds when pushing very hard giving us Guardian through the entire event (saving engine but reduced power) the warnings indicated it may be a voltage problem so we chased a ghost for a bit. We knew we had a boat that was every bit as fast as both #3 teams. It was disappointing having to nurse it and take less than desirable finishes for those two races. Trust me, we would not have been turning 105-114 MPH lap speeds in flat water when we are capable of 120's.

The crew solved the problem and we had one job to do on Sunday and no one was getting in the way of that, regardless of whether we won the championship or not we were determined to win on Sunday.

The Miss GEICO did not replace or remove an engine the entire week. We were also the ONLY unlimited team to complete ALL the required laps through the course of the week.

It was an honor running with all the teams that showed up in Key West this year. Hopefully we will see more of them out next year.
