So anybody know what these things cost?? Seems like all custom made must be big bucks

We used to sell ours for 12000.00 each. Only built 24. Probably 15000.00 or so if a new 24 each is built.

Redline is 7400. At the end of that pass we are running in 4th gear @ 7250 and 108mph with 100 gallons of fuel. When we burn off the fuel it runs 5 and 6th gear.

With the Weissmans ,you need to take a second mortgage out on your house to afford them.
Yours are the only transmissions that I would consider because of your integrity and service after the sale is real important to you -unlike the other guy.

Top end is top end no matter what but getting there would be so much better with gears and shifting. No matter what prop you are always leaving something on the table. Put the best top end prop you can swing in the best power ban of the motors and let the transmissions make the boat manageable the rest of the time.
I would love to have them for my raceboat. 2 motors going to one V drive to a single prop means the prop is pretty big and tends to kill the motors in lower rpm’s. Just a low and high gear would be great alone. 6 or 7 gears would be insane.

I'm the same --- 7250 RPM translate to 7250 ft/min when the pieces fly in a straight line:picard1:
