I've had great experiences making connections though this community too; most through OSO.

I've found mechanics to take care of my parents cars, had custom vehicles looked at with positive & negative feedback from honest, unbiased eyes; and also returned the favor back to the community quite a few times myself.

I love always being able to say "I've got a buddy that..."
...even if I haven't met him (or her) yet.
