Looking 4 a good wrap co.
Looking for a good wrap shop to do my 35 fountain while I'm rebuilding this whore. Anyone know a good shop in this area. I went to a couple of shops already and I thought I walked into a tattoo parlor. Not that I have anything against tattoos I have a **** ton. But it kinda turned me off like they wanted the job so they could do more crystal meth. I'm not trying to offend any meth heads you can do whatever you want, just not to my boat. Please help if you guys know anything in ny or long island

The best for me is Ryan at Kinetic Animation but you have to drive a bit from NY. But well worth it.

LOL , I'm in North Carolina and probably not much use to you but one of my best friends owns a wrap shop and travels all over the east coast wrapping boats . I'll bet he goes down to Intrepid's factory in Florida and wraps one a month . But the reason I had to laugh when I read your post is because we were just watching some of the top wrap guys in the country in a competition and I made a comment about how they were all tatted up and my friend was telling me that at all the trade shows he goes to most of the installers are tatted up for some reason . He also has a guy working for him for a few years now that has tats and piercings but does a great job . I think in the end you should let their work be the deciding factor and not what the look like . You might find a shop that looks like a bunch of alter boys working on a polished floors and they might not have a clue what they are doing .
In the end I think that the wrap / custom business is just very artistic and tats , piercings ,and mohawks are something that artsy fartsy people all do these days .. Good Luck |

Yes that's the one. Just east of Nichols rd
He did all my work trucks and equipment. I've seen lambos and other exotic cars he's wrapped. Does excellent work. I grew up in the same town as him. He's always been a great artist |

Wondering if they do boat wraps as well. Photo Credit: PHENOMinal Vinyl SEMA 2014 https://www.facebook.com/PHENOMenalVinyl/photos_stream http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...83480849_n.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...92249520_n.jpg |
I'm yet to see a wrap that looks spectacular, especially up close (including those two cars above which I saw at SEMA a couple of weeks ago)... and this is coming from someone that works in the film industry!
