This is a comedy! Ramming the ice is probably the worst idea the boater could have come up with. At least chop it up with a shovel before you put it in reverse!

Did a little ice breaking (by accident) about 10 years ago in Party Cove at LOTO. Sunny, 70 degree February day. Hey, let's run WFO thru Party Cove...cause you can't do that in the summer! What can go wrong?! Uh, how about the cove wasn't completely free of ice! We got the 'ol Sunny Dominator off plane just in time to gently ride up on the ice. She was a beached whale for a second or so and then broke thru. I had to pick up a chunk of what we rode up on.

All boats to be out by oct 15th if I remember correctly. Belle maer is a top notch marina. Some rumors are that the guy stopped paying and walked away from it all. I can not confirm that though.

I remember seeing a thirty something foot Motion cat with triple 2.5's sitting in the water in the snow in Toledo Beach marina that had a similar rumor. It was about this time of year as well, somewhere I have a pic of it in the water with snow coming down. Story was guy walked away leaving it to the bank or ???
