sorry been smoking for 12 years and just quit monday, I had NO idea it would be this freakin hard!!!!plus it is Labor day weekend and I have not got my motors back. So I figure it is everyone's fault:mad: thanks for the vent:mad: I am going to find the nearest person and stick a freakin pen in thier eye:mad:

this soudsn insane but it worked for me. I smoked for 8 years (yeah i started really early!!!) towards teh end i was 1.5-2 packs a day.

Every time you feel liek havign a ciagarette drink a bottle of water. TH esmall evians work pretty well. You piss lieak race horse BUT it flushe dthe nicotien frmo your system and it seem to help witheth i need a cigattet now feeling. Hey it worked for me an i smoked like a fiend.

Saturday will be day 4 on the patch for me. So far...so good.

Are you going cold turkey? I didn't think I could go cold turkey because that would remind me of smoked turkey, and that would remind me of smoke, and that would remind me of smoking, and that would make me smoke........so I'm using the patch.

4 years ago now. Drink lots of alcohol, worked for me. Be careful driving, I almost rearended a lot of people. Seems the normal attention things we take for granted go to hell when you quit smoking. It takes a while. Good luck, never have just one.

Quit three weeks ago today. Still want one bad and it really sucks when having a frosty! That means I'll be areal a**hole this weekend. On the other hand I can already tell a difference as far as being able to breathe.

I had the Roto Rooter go thru an artery a few weeks ago to clean out the blackage and my Doctor said I had to quit smoking. I really cut back for a couple of weeks but being a stockbroker this market has not been helping me at all.

Watching The Speed Channel this morning I saw an AD for Lucas Oil, it said it will help stop smoking, I think I will give it a try.:)

It was tough on me also, hang in their it will be worth it, I don't even think about it today at all no urge, but it has been a while, hang tough

I have no problem not smoking in the winter, but get me around boats & beer and I just can't help it. Don't know why but there it is.
