What the hell did we need beer for? We had enough liquor on board to kill a bunch of people.

We also, on the way into the channel, passed a guy in a Scarab running wide open trying to impress his friends (running the opposite direction) with a helicopter hovering taking shots of him. Linn put the hammer down, turned hard, and not only caught up to the guy, but just flat passed him. The helicopter swung around and tried to catch us, he was hovering maybe 10 feet over our propwash running hard, and never did get up next to us.

Dude, beaumont is closer than clear lake... You can put your boat in just east of baytown off of I-10 and be to the hole in about 15 minutes.

Shawn,

I've been on Linn's boat a few times before. When it works, it's pretty friggin fast...

We were taking on water like crazy because of a loose connection on the starboard motor. The port bilge pump seized and blew the fuse for both bilge pumps twice. We finally had to pull the port pump, hardwire the starboard (out of fuses) and manually clear the starboard pump of debris by hand. Even then, the damn thing barely kept the bilge dry.

Pretty sweet boat though. Embarassed the hell out of a Scarab!
