13,200 list price from Nortech. I got to believe it's easier and cheaper to install during the build process

Pacing back and fourth talking thruster deals with spot boats.

Actually I'm at Atlantis in the Bahamas at the tables trying to win enough to get what you guys consider the MUST HAVE bow thruster. Wish me LUCK!

All kidding aside each and everyone of your input is valued but I think you must take boat size, (blingbling I dont have a 39, I ordered a 34 that's a huge difference in hull surface area percentage wise), budget & how & where one intends to boat so let's keep the thread upbeat & positive so that myself & others can benefit from everyone's posts.
Sportboats & Terry have made themselves available for countless hrs inorder to educate me & answer each & every question I've had. They worked thru all the pros & cons w/ me even when I tend to resist be I have my mind made up already.

PS- Internet access is $22/ day here so don't expect to here much from me, it's forcing me to choose between eating & keeping you guys informed!

PSS- seen 2) NT 340 Tenders in the Marina yesterday, seems to be a popular choice monster the rich & famous. If possible I'll do a bow thruster inventory too.

Michael,
Just to be clear Mercury does offer Joystick steering for Verados. Not saying it is a must but it is a good alternative to the bow thruster and not having a large hole in the front of the boat.
They work well. I have sea trial a few Intrepids with them.
You can easily walk the boat sideways.

Yes sir I am aware but actually what I was trying to say is that Nor-Tech is not a fan of the system currently so they don't offer it as an option on their CC boats.

For those of you who don't know in addition to owning a very custom & custom 28' Skater, Double Rigged also owns the marine electronics business, Electronics Unlimited out of Ft Lauderdale, FL providing equipment sales, installation & service to watercraft of all sizes around the globe.

Ron turned me onto Garmins new 7612 screens that debuted at the Lauderdale show. They are black glass like the 8212's for quite a bit less $$$. Hooking me up w/ a JL Audio sound system as well.

Default Nor-Tech 340 Sport Tender

The Nor-Tech really helps make this yacht. Barely even noticed it until the 340 caught my attention. There are actually 2 here.

The other tender resembled this NT 340 colors, Yamaha's and all but it had rocket launchers & outriggers on the hardtop.
