If you want to see more on these motors there was a thread on BF 2 years ago, search 1700hp motors. More pictures and specs

I think some here are missing the point, nobody said it was new technology its just new to the high performance boating world done in a manner that is designed to last. "Carl" has run this basic package for 2 years and after the first year they were opened up checked then buttoned up, no major rebuild required, try that with a 1650 Merc.
Marine ready
Pump gas
Huge HP
Reliable
Durable
Creative ideas to overcome flaws with the traditional BBC package.
This is huge for the offshore industry.
The best thing of all is Todd started with the concept of "I'm sick of repairing chevy based big blocks, I can start from scratch and avoid these breakdowns.
Boating all summer with no breakdowns is very valuable to us as most of you know. Im mechanicly declined and even I can see that.

Lastly considering the close relationship with Tommy that Bill Pyburn has there must be some compelling reasons for him to use Goodwin, he obviously does a ton of research.
