Well I wouldn't say nessicarly stage 3. But not many 700s go to 5425 rpm. Hey they do have merc there helping dial it in. And who knows how it's really "set up" for what type of boating.
Either way- great new boat. Cool to see they made a smaller version finally. Hey it's a Mystic, did anyone ever think it WOULDN'T be fast? Lol |
I was just kidding, nice job, although that is a sweet upgrade for short money.

i dont think he was insinuating they are stage 3, i think he was meaning that doing a stage 3 is written all over it... even though the boat is on the rev limiters the display will show max rpm, 5400 is when the omp shuts off power but continuing force will go a little higher/spike the display is just a recording device. I like the whole pkg the 700 with upgrades and the styling makes me want one.

Does anyone know what the boat "currently" weighs" and what the boat will weigh once the windshield is on, the full interior is in, the boat is painted, and all the finish rigging items are in the boat? Also, wonder how much the windshield will slow the boat down? Its senseless to prop the boat raw and bare as a lot of things most likely will change once its completed.

Mystic 4400
The 4400 is 8500 Dry
Yes, we tested with windshield (Front 2 Sections), if anything it slowed down a bit because side glass was not in. If you look you can see the windshield, just a bit deceiving where they have there waist because side glass not in. The boat was almost full of fuel and had all gear in it. There was ballast weight (close to 600 pounds) in boat to simulate additional people and the 4 rear seats that were not in it that weigh 35 pounds each so we exceeded what would be running weight. This does not include the driver and passenger that were in the boat. It is not uncommon to test this way and testing will continue once paint is done and we install the four rear seats. Hope that helps.
