I have R&R slidemaster 3" jackplates. Love the design and no problems yet. They were actually made for the verado. I dont trust high setback jackplates on offshore use. Maybe on lighter boats but for heavy offshore use....I don't trust them.

Some of the big offshore fishing cc's have used them for years. Most on euro transoms and I think I recall seeing them on brackets. Check at the hull truth bunch of big cc owners over there. I am pretty sure a guy with trip v8 Monties on a 34 scarab is using them.

PORTA PRODUCTS Steve Porta .The best one out there for twins or multi engine IMO. Had one on a 26-28 Thoroughbred-Velocity, with a pair of Evolution Marine 400hp V-8s. BAD ASS. Never had a problem, rigged the boat in 1993 ran it HARD didn't beat the boat, but ran it hard till sold in 2004. Still like new.

1.does it even make sense to use them... when you are off shore and inland in shallow water in ur boat??

2. I seen in an multi engine application where all the engines are raise at the same time.... makes sense.. or each engine has its own jack plate??

3. different types of jackplates for multi engine application....

thanks,....

But Jim, in another thread you said it was a 42 Cig, then a 41 apache... please make up your mind.

secondly lots of people responded with your requests for hulls, papache has 3 available for you yet you just want to go on and on about it.
