That suxs.. Why would he post that prior to the show opening? My new boat is being debuted Thursday as well, hope he doesn't spoil it. I haven't seen it complete yet. Heading down Friday morning. Your Outerlimits is stunning BTW.

Its done every yr. Photographers or employees posting pics prior to Thursday's opening. On FB, lots off the performance boats at the show have been posted already. Mystic, OL, Skater etc...

BTW Rollins OL is GORGEOUS!!!!! and the trailer is stunning. Brotha has good taste.

You probably want to stay off the boards and internet Thursday and Friday so your surprised when you get there. Once the show is open Thursday you KNOW there will be quite a bit of photos posted of all kinds of new boats.

Every year it's like a race to see who can put up pictures first of things that manufacturers have worked pretty hard to keep under wraps.

It's kind of sad. It takes the excitement out of the show, and also makes it so people don't need to come and talk to the manufacturer to see it.. and thats the whole reason these guys pay the long dollar for this show.

Kind of disrespectful really.

Really? You think that people wouldn't go to the show if they could see pics online? I'd have to respectfully disagree. And while there's some what of some showmanship and surprise with unveiling a new model, new product, etc I personally think if sneak peeks get posted if does zero to the show attendance let alone excitement of being there and experience it in person. You can look at pictures of a Ferrari or Lamborghini all day, but there ain't nothing like sinking your azz down into that leather wrapped bucket seat, pushing the start button and hitting the paddle into 1st.

The big boat shows are an experience that you need to be there for to take in. Won't matter how many pictures of boats are posted, people will still want to be there and specifically talk to owners, builders, racers and customers.

I never really understood the whole secretiveness of it all. You see pictures of concept cars and new models spread all over car mags before they're debuted. Doesn't mean people don't want to see them in person. In fact, it's actually a sales strategy - "come see the all new (insert item here) at this years show."

It is what it is. And I'm kinda glad people post sneak peeks since I can't make it this year. ;)

I see what your saying, but I know for a fact that manufacturers wish it didn't happen... that being said, your right. it is what it is.
