Default 2001 Formula 419 hits 104 MPH ?????? Here????

I saw a listing by a broker that claims a 2001 Formula 419 Fastech with Torch graphics will do 104 MPH. That is very fast and I wonder if anyone here owns that boat or if anyone here knows this boat? It is supposed to be for sale so I am looking for some background on it. This boat is alleged to be in the NY area.
TIA

Not in NY but this one has to do pretty good. Good buy if you like trips too.

Exactly. I wondered just how much power it really would take to hit that speed. The broker is supposed to get me the HIN and so far that is about all I know.

This one is still too expensive imo specially with the sc engines that still need to be tuned as stated in add
But i have seen it for sale for a while now and catched my eyes!

That power, I understand, would hit about 84-86. Not bad but this boat has what I think of as a scary disclaimer; motors need tuned. WHAT! Need tuned??? So what is wrong more than some of the work? I can't tell if all the exhaust is stainless marine. Some say it but the mount on top looks like the old junk that leaks badly. This boat may be a cobble job but I would have to see it to know for sure. The blue paint looks cool but this thing would be invisible running out across the water. I prefer a lot of white so I can bee seen for safety reasons.

Offer the broker $45000 and they would probably take !!!!! You can tell your buddies it goes 100, who is going to dispute ???And you can tell the babes you have a head, air cond. and a big sun pad on the stern and she will want to bring her girl buddies - You might get lucky and as far as the rest of the people looking at your boat they will think you have a **** load of money because you have three engines....... and gas is getting real cheap again......Your ahead all the way around

On the serious side --- have the boat surveyed and have a good marine mech check the engines over real close ,even if it costs a few bucks Looks like a nice boat

Is this the 419 in Webster, NY by any chance? If it is, it was on Rochester's Craigslist back in the fall and he was asking $160,000. Said the same thing in the ad. Boat would do 104 mph. I saw it for sale for $98,900 now. From what I saw in the Craigslist ad, it had 500 EFI's in it. I thought the ad was fake because most of the pictures of the boat and truck in the ad, looked like they were taken in the desert and last time I checked Rochester, NY is not in the desert. But then one day coming home from work, don't I pass the truck in the picture on the expressway. No boat though.

Yes same one. Interesting that you have seen the truck because just as you said those pics don't look right at all.
This one seems to be going the same way as the last one here that was an 01 starting out high, running ads for years and selling low. Once I get the build sheet form Formula I will know what it is.
